China:

Mr. Jianguo Xu introduced that Asia Print has been set up for 8 years. The economy and

printing industry are different with the situation 8 years back. Due to the financial crisis,

economy went to the lowest point and began to return now. Looking at the global economy,

Europe, America and Asia face different problems. The problems Asia is facing are problems

in the process of development of economy. So we share many common problems. He thinks

printing industry has pass through the hardest time and went into the early stage to next

development period. His estimate is Chinese printing industry is growing mainly at three

aspects. 1). Digital printing will have quick development. 2). Chinese government raised

awareness on environmental protection. Printing industry encountered more pressures on

environmental issues which will force the breakthrough on related technology. 3). Post press

will get quick development since labor cost in China is increasing. Chinese President Xi

Jinping proposed belt and road strategy, and summit will be held in Beijing. PEIAC has very

good cooperation with other members of Asia Print. Almost all member countries within Asia

Print are under the framework of belt and road strategy. Mr. Jianguo Xu would like to express

that though PEIAC is no longer the president of Asia Print, PEIAC will continue to work with

members of Asia Print to push forward the development of printing industry.
